It was impossible to go anywhere without hearing about or seeing one of the three fandoms everywhere. Naruto especially became awfully popular not only for the show’s plot and characters but the memes that arose from it still exist today. Using the simple phrase “Naruto running” paints a perfect picture in everyone’s mind without having even seen the show.

One of the most infamous characters is Sakura Haruno, someone who’s made a name for herself throughout the series. Ready to do her cosplay?

Let’s first look at the origins before we move on to the costume

Sakura was born the only child to Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno and unlike her other two companions, had an ordinary childhood. Her only struggles growing up revolved around petty bullying from her classmates due to her large forehead, which she then felt self-conscious about. It wasn’t until Ino Yamanaka showed up to defend her and this led to Sakura respected and admiring Ino, learning from her guidance.

As time went on, Sakura became more comfortable with herself as a result of Ino’s help but started to feel as if she was living in her shadow rather than an equal.

After entering the Academy, Sakura met Sasuke and soon developed a crush on him. After talking about this to other girls she was surprised to learn just how popular Sasuke was. Years later, after learning that Ino also had a crush on Sasuke, Sakura ended their friendship in order to compete for Sasuke’s love and thus starting a bitter rivalry between the two former friends.
