Who is Klaus Daimler? 

Klaus Damler is a character of the 2004 American adventure comedy-drama film created by Wes Anderson. Klaus is a member of Team Zissou, a crew gathered by renowned oceanographer, Steve Zissou, who are on a mission to hunt down the mysterious creature responsible for killing one of Zissou’s partners. They set off with Klaus Daimler as first mate in their vessel, the Belafonte, in hopes of finding this creature who may or may not even exist.
