Description

Borge Mogensen is a Scandinavian designer and the mastermind behind the famous Spanish Chair model 2226 in 1958.
This Spanish chair is made of solid oak and leather seat and back. The leather is strapped like belts at the back and bottom of the seat to secure it to the oak frame. Using only 3 materials to create the Spanish chair, connotes simplicity and elegance.
As seen in the film The Bridge, it’s against the glass windows with the ray of light forming shadows.
This may be influenced by his travels to Spain but the style says Scandinavian with the light colors and minimalist features.
