Thick instead of fine! A very smart choice and a real refreshment as opposed to the trend of slender shapes. This chair bears for good reason the name “Pipe Chair. It sounds like a steam engine. And yet the designer has managed to remain light and unobtrusive with this armchair, so this design evolves around the calming aspect of oversize: simplicity.
The no-frills, sturdy structure is made of powder-coated aluminum tubing, diameter 80 mm. On top of it lies a roundish seat cushion, somewhat reminiscent of an inflatable element. The backrest is like a thick brace, promising comfort.
Visually, the item not only looks naturally appealing, but also pleasantly round, casual and light.
